Holiday Studio for rent

Thebla, West of Chania

40 minutes from the airport at Chania in a quiet location with easy access to the busy holiday resort of Platanias with all the bars and clubs. Thebla is next to the village of Tavroniti which is a working village and is open all year round with a butcher’s, baker’s, chemist, mini-markets, video and computer shop, tavernas and a newspaper shop.

The studio is on a small development of 13 one- and two-storey houses, set in the middle of the olive groves. It is a 10-minute stroll to the village of Tavroniti (see Map) and is a 20-minute stroll to the shingle beach – three minutes by car.

The bus service is every 30 minutes to the main town of Chania and takes 30 minutes, passing through all the holiday resorts on the way. There is an old town and harbour from Venetian times which is well worth a visit. In the new part there are all the upmarket shops including Bodyshop, Next and Mothercare.

The area west of Chania is a good area for walking, with the Samarian Gorge not far away, plus many other walks in the Kolymbari area.

The Studio

Open all year, the studio has twin beds, air-conditioning and central heating for out of season bookings. It is well equipped with crockery, cutlery, toaster and teapot, a good range of cooking equipment and fridge.

The shower room has shower, toilet and wash basin. Bed linen and towels are provided and changed regularly. All windows are double-glazed and have roller shutters and fly screens.
